Karachi Wellness Festival (KWF)
An opportunity for teenagers to come together and talk about mental health. We hope to create an environment where no one is judged, dismissed or told what to do. Young people will come together and strategise on what needs to be done at a family, school and cultural level to make society more supportive and sensitive to the stresses faced by teenagers today.

Eating Disorders
Happy New Year to everyone! With the holiday and wedding season coming to an end, it is a perfect time to get the focus back on healthy eating and lifestyle choices, necessitated by it. Does that mean starving yourself? Becoming obsessive about your calorie intake? Watching yoga reels and thinking of starting it from next Monday? Well, why don’t you join us on January 19, 2023 in the curated conversation with Samia Chundrigar on Eating Disorders and what it takes to make healthy food choices and lifestyle changes. Come one, come all - come with your friends and family, it always helps when you are surrounded by people who understand your challenges. If you are a worried parent concerned about your children’s eating choices, do bring them along. Everyone can engage in these conversations, open for young and old alike.
We at Sabeen Mahmud Foundation (proposed) are hosting a series of discussions on mental health challenges that are affecting young people today. We will be engaging with various experts in the field to learn more about the subject and prepare ourselves to better respond and manage our own mental health as well as support our friends, family, peers and those amongst us. The Continuing Education Programme of Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture is collaborating with SMF for opening public dialogues on mental health and well-being.
