This event is the start of a broader mission to create safe spaces for young people – to share their mental health journey, and to contribute to discussions on how they can be better supported in this journey.
Footballer Hajra Khan and actor Adnan Malik will be in conversation about their personal accounts of mental health and wellbeing. As public figures, Hajra and Adnan have been encouraging their young fans to have open, honest conversations on this critical issue. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Sanam Maher, and followed by an open house for the audience to interact, engage and share their views.
On the 4th anniversary of Sabeen Mahmud’s passing, this event is organised by the directors of a foundation in Sabeen’s memory, as a way of kicking off its mandate of supporting the mental well-being of young adults.
