Cracking the Code: Teen Parenting & Mental Health

Have you felt that you don't know how to deal with your children ever since they turned 13 yrs old? Have you ever thought you are not a good parent because you can't relate to your kids or their moods?

Don't worry a bit. We have a perfect person to share your worries and ask your questions.

Dr. Ayesha Mian will be drawing upon her years of expertise as a leading child and adolescent psychiatrist to hold an interactive discussion around teen mental health. A must attend for anyone who wishes for a deeper understanding around how to support young people’s mental and emotional well-being.

Come on your own or whole families. Bring your group of school moms and teachers too.

It is going to be an open, non judgemental candid conversation. See you on 17th at 5.30pm@ IVS.

Sabeen Mahmud Foundation (proposed), in collaboration with the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture is hosting a series of discussions on mental health challenges that are affecting young people today. We will be engaging with various experts in the field to learn more about the subject and prepare ourselves to better respond and manage our own mental health as well as support our friends, family, peers and those amongst us.

We would love to hear your comments, questions and suggestions for future topics.
